You can see strange things from time to time, such as cars with plates from other countries. The Germans seem to be popular, because I notice a lot of cars with "D" as country code on plate.

At least these are much cheaper than those license plates with a nice background graphic fitting to the province of registration - those are only available to the numbers bought at the auctions.
